WEBSITE Design
I have designed and regularly update a number of custom websites for various companies and below you can read a bit more about them and visit the sites if you wish. I have tried to use different ideas and designs for each site, to make them as individual and specific for the business as possible, ranging from full flash sites through to php and html sites, always styled with CSS.
MAGENTA Music, Somerset
Magenta were a popular folk band operating out of the west country from 1975 until 1985. They released a number of albums, 3 of which are available to buy through this site. The Website is also a location for other successful bands in the area over the last 30 years or so, including Bulldog, Tex Braithwaite & the Biryani Brothers and 88 straight.

Brik Property are a london based Estate Agent, priding themselves on being a forward thinking, independent estate agency built on outstanding service, good advice, and a relentless desire to succeed. They required a Website that was capable of presenting million pound plus properties to a competetive market.

Dovetail2000 Ltd is owned by a Somerset based Architect, who has many years experience building and selling properties for the market in a thriving and popular area. He was after a web presence to advertise and sell his latest project in Wedmore, Somerset.

Intu Design is a London based design agency with the aim of providing marketing messages based upon simplicity and style of design that stands the test of time. This client requested a full Flash site with plenty of interactivity and interest for the user, as well as presenting their capabilities and design portfolio to the best possible standard.

The Polkerris Beach Company were a new business setting up a watersports environment on the south coast of Cornwall, offering a high standard of tuition for windsurfing through to sailing. With accommodation, a shop and a cafe offered to the customers, Polkerris Beach had the potential to become a very exciting project to get involved with.
The client was after a fresh, active and exciting feel to the site, as well as a simplistic message and clear design to provide the best possible advertising for the company

KOW Leisure, Somerset
The Kings of Wessex Leisure Centre is one of the largest and most popular leisure centres offered to the public in Somerset. With top facilities ranging from a fully equipped Fitness Suite, Spinning Room, Studio and Sports Hall to a competition standard state of the art Swimming Pool, it was important that the centre had an online presence that matched the centres stature in the community.
The site needs to be regularly updated with new courses, timetables, classes and general information for the community, and is one of my most visited websites.

PIP Nichols Painters, Somerset
Pip Nichols Painters is a Somerset based Painting and Decorating Company that has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. A sign of high quality comes with having a Pip Nichols and Co. sign in the front garden of a house that is being worked on.
The company required a basic online presence to offer further advertising and information to those in the local area as well as further afield.

Target-Fitness are another relatively new company based in the Somerset area, that are becoming bigger and more popular with each passing month. Having purely advertised through word of mouth, the company wished to gain an online presence to advertise the latest Metabolic Profiling technology they now offer as well as the high standard of Personal Training for their clients
